John McCain: Like Hope, Only Different
April 9th, 2008 · 3 Comments
John McCain and his Republican allies regard the recession we’re in right now as part of the right wing’s beloved concept of the “genius” of the free market. Foreclosures are not genius. Unemployment is not genius. Inflation is not genius.

Vote In the The Primary Of The Earth
March 29th, 2008 · No Comments
The presidential primary gives Democrats in Pennsylvania the chance to choose between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. That’s important, but the observance of Earth Day on the very same day gives people all over the world a more important choice: Will they dedicate themselves in the year to come to the responsible stewardship of the Earth, or will they just go on as if it’s simply another day, and pretend that there’s no issue

May I say that this portrait has got some attitude to it that is lacking in most pictures of Kucinich? There’s something about the man that’s very difficult to capture, but this button has got a real lease on the candidate.

Clean Water for America
December 17th, 2007 · No Comments
Unfortunately, right wing Supreme Court justices appointed by Republican candidates saw things differently, and ruled to overturn the power of the Clean Water Act to protect a huge number of American waterways and wetlands. Some in Congress are working to overcome that problem with a new piece of legislation to restore the integrity of the Clean Water Act. The bill is called the Clean Water Restoration Act of 2007.

Nobel Prize, Now The Presidency For Al Gore
December 11th, 2007 · No Comments
Al Gore does not speak of fear and restriction. He does not threaten loss of liberty. Al Gore looks to expand what is possible to confront the challenges we face today. That’s the kind of wisdom we need in a President of the United States. That’s why we need Al Gore for President in 2008.

Idaho Voters Matter As Much As Iowa Voters
December 5th, 2007 · No Comments
Let Iowa voters have their influence, but let other voters in other states participate too, and have a fair contribution to the selection of their own party’s presidential candidate. It’s with that idea in mind that I’ve sought out a progressive political button from another state, and come across this one for Dennis Kucinich in Idaho: Idaho Supports Kucinich.
