Give a Good Left Hook With These 8 Obama Buttons

July 28th, 2008 · No Comments

I found a cozy little group of eight Barack Obama buttons today over at a cozy little web site called Good Left Hook. It’s not hard to find Barack Obama buttons these days, but the thing that stands out to me about this collection of buttons is that they’re just, well, atypical.

Typically, a political button follows the motif set by the candidate. For a presidential candidate, it usually is red, white and blue and has a star, or a representation of the American flag. You see, the idea is that if those items aren’t there, we might just forget that we live in the United States of America.

Sometimes, the White House sits in the background, just so that we can make no mistake about what the button’s intention is.

Don’t these conventions get kind of boring after awhile? I’m happy to say that none of the eight buttons follows the conventions of political button designs. They’re all for Obama, and they’re all original - kind of like Obama himself.

Give them a look see.
