Alas, we were not good little boys and girls. Or, maybe, we didn’t give Santa enough cookies with his milk. Whatever we did wrong, Santa decided not to give America what it was asking for.
Four years later, America makes this promise to Santa: We will give you as many cookies as you want. We will be good. We will do whatever you ask, Santa. Just, please, this year, give us Barack Obama for President in time for Christmas.
