Customize Your Power With An Individual Button

January 28th, 2008 · No Comments

The greatest human crisis today is the drowning of individuality. When you’re one person among six billion, it’s hard to be seen. Even as one among 300 million, if you’re an American, you’re practically invisible…

…unless you begin to speak for yourself. Wearing the same clothes as everyone else, driving the same car, eating the same food, listening to the same music, your personality is going to blend in with everyone else’s.

That goes for political activism too. If you just get the standard issue political button, who will notice you and your political vision, beyond being just another generic supporter of your candidate of choice.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Your individuality still matters. You have the power.

As of today, Irregular Times has set up a page where people can create their own buttons in support of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or John Edwards. Customizable bumper stickers and campaign posters are available too. There’s a blank space in the available design, upon which you can place your own identity.

Plumbers for Edwards? Ecologists for Obama? Seattle for Clinton? Now it can be done.

Don’t blend in to a big nationwide group of generic identity. Express your individual identity at the same time that you provide support for a candidate for all America.

Who are you? Make it known.
