How does Mike Huckabee know what Jesus would say about the science of global warming, or about the different health care plans, or about how to best promote clean energy resources for America? It seems that Mike Huckabee has grown so arrogant in his lust for power that he has has started to assume that everything that he wants is something that Jesus wants too.

Do Not Be Driven By Fear Into An Age Of Unreason
December 23rd, 2007 · No Comments
The unreason of Homeland Security easily matches the unreason of anti-Communism. War, arbitrary imprisonment, unjust trials, torture, government spying against citizens, and on and on, assault the machines that maintain reason in our nation.
The Homeland Insecurity Seal
December 22nd, 2007 · No Comments
We designed our own logo in satirical protest of the Homeland Security seal, to represent the true nature of the Department of Homeland Security. It’s not security that Homeland Security brings us, after all. Rather, Homeland Security serves to create insecurity. So we remade the Homeland Security seal as the new symbol of a virtual Department of the U.S. federal government: The Department of Homeland Insecurity.

A Button As Colorful As Kucinich
December 19th, 2007 · No Comments
May I say that this portrait has got some attitude to it that is lacking in most pictures of Kucinich? There’s something about the man that’s very difficult to capture, but this button has got a real lease on the candidate.

These Colors Don’t Run Either
December 18th, 2007 · No Comments
Remember how, a few years ago, there were all these t-shirts, bumper stickers and buttons with the American flag and the slogan: These Colors Don’t Run? Well, it turns out that those colors ran right into a trap in Iraq, and the slogan has become a lot less popular. All those old political […]

Ten extra points for mentioning that the words come originally from Benjamin Franklin. The Bicycle is the Vehicle of Heroes
December 12th, 2007 · No Comments
While others walk on treadmills that suck electricity out of a wall socket, going nowhere, bicyclists make their own power and move where they will. While motorcyclists pollute the air with their self-conscious pose of noise, bicyclists cut through the pollution silently.
They clear the roads. They make room for others. They build strength without taking from others’ strength.

Nobel Prize, Now The Presidency For Al Gore
December 11th, 2007 · No Comments
Al Gore does not speak of fear and restriction. He does not threaten loss of liberty. Al Gore looks to expand what is possible to confront the challenges we face today. That’s the kind of wisdom we need in a President of the United States. That’s why we need Al Gore for President in 2008.
